Terrie Reddish botanical artist

Terrie Reddish brings a contemporary perspective to botanic art. Her deconstructed and exquisitely detailed approach invites the observer to explore iconic New Zealand native flora from an entirely new perspective.

Terrie was awarded a gold medal at the Royal Horticultural Society's December 2008 show for her study of Phormium tenax, also known as flax or harakeke, in Maori. The RHS's Lindley Library purchased one of her gold-medal drawings for its teaching library and Dr Shirley Sherwood, the world's leading collector of botanical art, added another to her comprehensive private collection of twentieth century contemporary botanical art.

Based in Havelock North, Hawke's Bay on the east coast of New Zealand, Terrie also teaches botanical drawing at her studio and at nationwide workshops (upon request).
